To start, I checked out portfolios from other professionals in the industry. I looked at portfolios like Omar Algaithy's, Brittany Chiang's, Cassie Evans', Shikha Sethi's, and ArtistsWeb, and I found a treasure trove of inspiration for my portfolio. All websites had their uniqueness and showcased the creator's talents in their fields.

Omar Algaithy's website did impress me with its sleek and modern design. The use of dark and flashy colours, clean lines, bold typography, and good imagery immediately grabbed my attention. It showed me how simplicity can be incredibly effective in showcasing web development work. Brittany Chiang's website, on the other hand, stood out for its vibrant and playful aesthetic. The use of bright colours, playful animations that match the job advert I intend to use (junior graphic designer), and interactive elements made her portfolio feel engaging and lively. It taught me the importance of injecting personality into my portfolio to make it memorable. Cassie Evans' website showcased her technical prowess and attention to detail. The clean layout, meticulous organization, and seamless navigation made it easy for visitors to explore her work. It reminded me of the importance of user experience and how it can enhance the overall impact of a portfolio. Shikha Sethi's website exuded elegance and sophistication. The use of soft colours, elegant typography, and subtle animations created a sense of refinement and professionalism. It inspired me to consider how the visual elements of my portfolio could convey a sense of polish and sophistication.

Finally, ArtistsWeb's website demonstrated the power of storytelling in portfolio presentation. Through compelling case studies, testimonials, and project descriptions, it effectively communicated the creator's skills, expertise, and passion for their craft. It reminded me that my portfolio isn't just about showcasing my work but also about telling a compelling story about who I am as a creative professional. Overall, exploring these websites provided me with valuable insights and inspiration for crafting my portfolio.
